Delete your Surge account

For the Surge POS app by Discover Data Direct LLC.

In the app

Open the Surge app on your phone and sign in.
Tap the round button with your business’s initials at the top right to open Account, then tap Delete account.
Enter your password to confirm.

The only owner of a business? A business can't be left without an owner. First make someone else an owner in Team, or email info@surgeups.com and ask us to close the business.

By email

Email info@surgeups.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We handle email requests within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted

Your sign-in and password
Your name, email address and phone number
Signed-in sessions on every phone
Push notification tokens

Kept by the business

Sales and tax records the merchant is legally required to keep. They stay with the business, with your name removed.
