    What stays at the register

    The app is for running the business. Taking money happens on the terminal.

    • No refunds from the phone. Refunds are done at the register, where the card and the receipt are.
    • Owners only. Staff don't need the app. They sign in at the register with their till code.
    • No card payments. The app doesn't take payments. Your Surge terminal does.
    • Secure sign-in. Each phone signs in on its own, unlocks with Face ID, and signing out ends that phone's access right away.
