  • Tables is part of Surge Plus and Surge Premium.

Put a ticket on a table

Once Tables is on, the Tabs button on the ticket is called Tables. It shows a count, such as Tables · 3.

  2. Tap Tables.
  3. Tap a free table. Free tables say Free or Free · seats 4.
  4. If the terminal asks, choose the server and the number of guests.

Send to the kitchen and seat at once

Whatever is on the ticket goes to the kitchen when it's put on a table, if you have a kitchen printer or screen. The ticket then waits on the table.

A dine-in ticket can also go to a table from Send to kitchen. The terminal asks Which table?. Tap a free table and the order goes to the kitchen and onto that table.

Add to an open table

On the terminal
  1. Tap Tables.
  2. Tap the seated table. Its ticket opens.
  3. Add items.

Take payment

Open the table and tap Charge, then take payment as usual. A paid table turns Needs cleaning for the host.

Move a party to another table

Tap Cancel move to stop. A party across several tables moves to the one table you tap.

On the terminal
  1. Tap Tables, then Move a table.
  2. Tap the table the party is at.
  3. Tap a free table. The ticket and everything on it moves there.
