Open it
Each location is its own Surge account, with its own Merchant ID, address and pricing. Surge opens it for you: contact Surge support and ask for a new location.
Surge can copy your existing business into the new location once.
What the copy brings
- Copied: items, sizes, modifier sets, categories and pictures; taxes and discounts; jobs and vendors; till settings and feature switches; the receipt logo and the owners' sign-ins.
- Not copied: sales and customers; stock counts; terminals, printers and tables; the Merchant ID, address and pricing program.
- After the copy the two are separate. A price changed at one doesn't change at the other, unless you share one menu.
Switch between locations
On the back office
- Use the picker at the top of the menu and choose a location to work in it.
- Choose All locations to see them added up on the Dashboard.
