Switch it on
This is on every plan.
On the back office
- Go to Store setup > Features.
- Under How service runs, turn on Dine in / To go.
- Click Save changes.
On the ticket
Every ticket shows a row of buttons, such as Dine in and To go. Tap the one that applies.
A Dine in ticket leads with Send to kitchen, since it's paid after the meal. To go and the others lead with Charge, as usual.
Sending a ticket with no name
- Dine in asks Table number?, or Which table? on the floor if you run Tables.
- To go and the others ask Name for the order?.
Choose the options
On the terminal
- Open Settings > Dine in / To go and enter a manager code.
- Under Offered on the ticket, switch on Dine in, To go, Pickup or Delivery. Rename any of them if you like.
- Under A new ticket starts on, pick the default.
- Tap Save.
Whether a tax applies to each option is set on the tax itself. See "Set up sales tax".
